Giving out coupons is one of the best ways to market and sell your product in order to strengthen engagement with your customers. With WooCommerce, you can see the coupons that have been added. You can also add new coupons on the Coupons page. To edit or add coupon codes, below the fields you will see the Coupon Data block. It has three sections:
- General
- Coupon amount : To set the amount of the discount.
- Discount type : To set the type.
- Coupon expiry date: To set an expiration date.
- You can also offer free shipping to customers using the coupon.
- Usage restriction
- Set a minimum or maximum order subtotal (the sum of the cart subtotal + tax).
- Include or exclude selected products or categories.
- Limit by 'allowed' emails (verified against the customer's billing email).
- Usage limits
You can specify how many times the coupon can be used per customer and in total. You can also define the number of products or buyers it can be applied to at once. For example, coupons are limited to the first few buyers.
